At 40 Amps and 240V, this Level 2 charger delivers up to 38 miles of range per hour. That is approximately 7 times faster than a standard Level 1 charger plugged into a regular household outlet.
This charger requires a NEMA 14-50R outlet on a circuit breaker rated at 50A or greater. If you do not already have this outlet in your garage or exterior wall, you will need to have one installed. Installation instructions are included in the box.
This charger uses the J1772 connector standard. Tesla vehicles require a J1772-to-Tesla adapter, which is sold separately. All other J1772 compatible EVs plug in directly.
Yes. The device sharing feature allows multiple users to control the charger simultaneously through the companion app. The included RFID card also provides tap-to-authorize access.
